Meet the Founder

Here is the face behind Comfort Cuddles. I am 23 years old & from Boston, MA. I started this page in July of 2019 hoping to donate blankets and help as many kids as I could. At the time I was only 18 years old and some people thought I was crazy for starting something like this and having such high hopes for it. This page has taken off in a way I never thought it would. So far, I have donated over 800 blankets to both children and adults all over the world.
A little boy named Johnny, inspired me to start this page. I had been following #JohnnyStrong on instagram as he battled Neuroblastoma and wanted to do something for him. After donating blankets to Boston Children's Hospital NICU, I knew I wanted to keep doing it. I reached out to Johnny's family to offer a blanket and they were more than appreciative. Once he received the blanket, his family shared it on their social media, where I then got a few messages from other families of cancer warriors, requesting blankets.
After a few requests, I decided to start a separate Instagram page. That is when I began getting a lot of requests and things took off in the most amazing way. I used all my own money to pay for materials and shipping and within the first year had sent blankets to 32/50 states. As word got around, people began donating to help defray the cost of materials and shipping. Soon, Comfort Cuddles by Erin had been heard of in Canada and the United Kingdom.
I can't wait to see what the upcoming years have in store for us. I look forward to sending many more blankets to spread smiles and comfort throughout the world.
